Smoky Mountain Dreams come true
In 1981, Butch and Brenda Smith had a dream to provide East Tennessee guests a unique and authentic experience of staying in a Log Cabin in the foothills of the Great Smoky Mountains.
With much prayer and blessing, Hidden Mountain Resort has grown into a sanctuary for Smoky Mountain visitors from across the country and world.
The Smith family still owns and operates Hidden Mountain Resort, along with a team of friends and extended family dedicated to making your Smoky Mountain venue and stay a dream come true.
Hidden Mountain Resort has 2 locations, Hidden Mountain East and Hidden Mountain West.
Our wedding venues and amenities are located at Hidden Mountain East, which is only 5 minutes off the main parkway in Sevierville and Pigeon Forge.
Hidden Mountain East provides 1-14 bedroom Log Cabins, Cottages, and Villas, as well as The Dell, a Class A Motor Coach Resort. An onsite office and on-call maintenance staff are located here as well. Amenities at Hidden Mountain East include seasonal swimming pools, picnic pavilions, gazebos, and walking paths. All of these can provide gorgeous settings for your photos.
Venues at Hidden Mountain East include:
- The Prayer Garden, an open-air event space overlooking the Smoky Mountains
- The Lodge, our Log Cabin Event Space within walking distance to The Prayer Garden
- Bluff View Banquet Room, a smaller space that is ideal for Rehearsal Dinners and gatherings.

OUR PRAYER FOR YOU
May your love be as unwavering as the mountains, as joyful as the bubbling creeks, as gentle as the Smoky Mountain rain, and as immense as the forest.
As you commit your lives to love and support each other, we pray that you experience God’s love and live abundantly in His promises.
“Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud. It does not dishonor others, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs. Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth. It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres. Love never fails …” 1 Corinthians 13:4-8
